Jamaica Warrior King is going Fox hunting this weekend in downtown Eureka.

"Like a bolt of lightening from the sky, Rasta messenger Warrior King has burst upon the scene, utilizing his gift of song to spread Jah truth throughout the land," claims Passion Presents promoter Eric Kinnally.

Originally hailing from Portmore, Jamaica. Jamaica Warrior King was formerly known as Junior King while growing up and performing in the hardcore DJ style of Bounty Killer.

“I started out with school concerts at first,” Warrior King stated in a release. “From there I started increasing my own talent, and with encouragement of my peers and inspiration, the music started to flow.”

In 2001, his single "Virtuous Women" graced the airwaves internationally and become number one throughout many countries. His debut album of the same name was released shortly after, which also featured a handful of top charting singles like "Breadth of Fresh Air" and "Power to Chant".

Warrior King has been working hard in the studios with legendary producer Colin "Bulby" Yorke, and Sly and Robbie on his new album “Tell Me How Mi Sound,” to be released by the end of the year. He has been rehearsing tirelessly with his band as he gets ready to tour the world with his new album.

Warrior King will be performing on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 10:30 p.m at the Red Fox Tavern, 415 Fifth St. in Eureka. Tickets are $25 for this 21-and-over show. Music lovers can hear Warrior King tracks at their Myspace page (www.myspace.com/warriork).
