Got five minutes? It could change your world.
Director Ronlin Foreman challenged his actors with the formidable task of creating a five-minute play for one character that will change the way one looks at the world.
Eleven creatively developed, diversely imagined, fully embodied five-minute plays, each driven by the eccentric dimensions of a single character.
This production allows the student-actors to explore the two main questions of the program: What is a character? What is a play?
Each role must be distinct from the actor including physical shape and mannerism, voice and movement, with a specific atmosphere and desire.
Join the second-year students of Dell’Arte International’s MFA program as they present “Missing Persons: Plays for One Character,” Thursday, Dec. 11 through Saturday, Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. in Blue Lake’s Carlo Theatre.
Tickets are $7 general admission and $5 for students and seniors. It’s okay to just pay what you can on Thursday. For information call 668-5663 ext. 5 or visit www.dellarte.com.
