EUREKA -- Six people were arrested for various charges Wednesday, Dec. 10 in a county-wide gang sweep led by Eureka police.

Thirty-one members of the Humboldt County Gang Task Force conducted parole and probation searches at the homes of about a dozen people thought to be gang members or associated with them.

About 35 people were spoken to by officers from various county, state and federal agencies at their homes and motel rooms in the Eureka and McKinleyville areas.

Besides the six arrests with charges expected to come against two more people, the task force seized methamphetamine and drug and gang paraphernalia.

The following people -- not all of whom are gang members or associates -- have been jailed:

Harold William, 48, was arrested at a motel in the 2100 block of Broadway in Eureka for violation of his parole.

Bhakti Dillenbeck, 25, was arrested at a motel in the 1900 block of Broadway in Eureka for possession of methamphetamine, probation violation and five misdemeanor warrants for resisting or obstructing a peace officer, providing false evidence of identity to a peace officer, vandalism, public intoxication, probation violation, trespassing or interfering on a school campus and municipal code violations.
