EUREKA -- Police are on the lookout for three men who perpetrated an armed robbery against a pizza deliveryman on the troubled Westside of town.

At about 8:42 p.m. this evening, Eureka Police Department officers were alerted to the incident in the 500 block of West Sonoma Street, where a pizza order had been phoned in from. According to police officials in a release, the residents of the address in question were contacted and claimed to not have made a pizza order.

Somebody did make the order to a local pizza parlor, and was waiting to collect it, however. When the delivery man arrived and approached the unidentified home, he was accosted by three white males wearing black hoodies concealing their faces, one of whom was armed with what the victim said was a snub nose blue steel revolver. The armed suspect's hoodie slightly differed in appearance, with gold lettering on the front.

After a brief confrontation, the delivery man tried to escape on foot and was pursed by the suspects. In fleeing, he dropped his black pizza warming bag containing a pizza and buffalo wings. The suspects grabbed the warming bag and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information on this incident, especially anyone who knows the identity of the robbers, is asked to call EPD at (707) 441-4044.
